On October 12th, the beautiful city Chengdu ushered in the 8th Annual Meeting of Chinese Pathologists. The opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Yan Xiuwu from Pathology Institute of Army Medical University, and Liang Zhiyong from Peking Union Medical College Hospital. At the same time, Prof. Bu Hong, the chairman of Chinese Society of Pathology, and other experts gave excellent speeches.

During the opening ceremony of the conference, the conference reviewed the life story of Academician Liu Yuhua and was unveiled by the guests. Liu Yuhua, a student who has been engaged in pathological diagnosis for more than 60 years, has achieved a series of results such as genetic diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. He loves and earnestly in his life, and struggles in hardships to survive. This spirit is worth learning and respecting.

During the conference, Dartmon launched a self-developed automatic immunohistochemical staining system. Its excellent performance and easy operation have been widely recognized, attracting many pathologists to stop for consultation.

During the exhibition, Prof. Bu Hong also visited the booth. Professor Bu Hong said,“Develop the Chines innovative

technology and let the world see our national strength”.
