Description

Cytokeratin 14 is a 50-kD polypeptide found in basal cells of squamous epithelia, some glandular epithelia, myoepithelium, and mesothelial cells. Anti-CK14 is expressed in most squamous cell carcinomas, in epithelioid mesotheliomas and in the basal-like phenotype of breast carcinoma.1-4
