Calretinin Antibody (Polyclonal)
Calretinin Antibody (Polyclonal)
Recombinant polyclonal rabbit antibody
Description
Calretinin is a 29-kDa calcium-binding protein thought to play a role in the cell cycle.1 Anti-calretinin labels mesothelial and Leydig cells under normal and neoplastic conditions.2,3 Anti-calretinin has been shown to be useful in differentiating mesothelioma from adenocarcinomas of the lung and other sources.4-6 The main uses of calretinin are: to distinguish non-tumor mesothelial cells from tumor cells in exudate; to differentiate between adenocarcinomas and mesotheliomas, and to identify cardiac mucinous tumors and stromal tumors of the ovarian sex cord.
