CD138 Antibody (DA013)

CD138 Antibody (DA013)

Recombinant monoclonal mouse antibody

Description

CD138 is a transmembrane heparan sulfate proteoglycan, present mainly in a variety of epithelial tissues, participating in cell proliferation, cell migration, intercellular communication and cell-matrix interactions.1 In lymphoid tissues, CD138 is expressed in the late stages of B-cell differentiation with progression towards plasma cells.1,2 Anti-CD138 is a good marker to selectively identify plasma cells, benign or malignant, in lymphoid tissues3,4 CD138 is also expressed in a variety of epithelial cells.4
