Podoplanin Antibody (DA051)
Podoplanin Antibody (DA051)
Recombinant monoclonal rabbit antibody
Description
Podoplanin is a transmembrane mucoprotein (38 kD) recognized by the D2-40 monoclonal antibody. Podoplanin is selectively expressed in normal and malignant lymphatic endothelium, including Kaposi’s sarcomas. Podoplanin has also been shown to be expressed in epithelioid mesotheliomas and seminomas. It is helpful in the diagnosis of lymphatic endothelium-derived tumors and in determining the occurrence of lymphatic infiltration and metastasis in other tumor tissues.1-9
