CD7 Antibody (DA032)

CD7 Antibody (DA032)

Recombinant monoclonal rabbit antibody

Description

CD7 antigen is a 40-kDa cell surface glycoprotein that is a member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily.1,2 It is suggested that CD7 plays a role in T-cell interactions as it is one of the earliest T-cell lineage associated antigens expressed during T-cell ontogeny.2,3 CD7 is expressed in thymocytes, mature peripheral T-cells, natural killer cells, and lymphoid and myeloid progenitors.1,2,4 CD7 can be used to identify primitive T-cell tumors such as lymphoblastic leukemia if antibodies to other T-cell markers are ineffective.
