Lysozyme Antibody (Polyclonal)

Lysozyme Antibody (Polyclonal)

Recombinant polyclonal rabbit antibody

Description

Immunohistochemical study with Lysozyme has been shown to have cytoplasmic expression in hematopoietic cells  and non-hematopoietic cells, like renal proximal convoluted tubules.1 Lysozyme may be used as a non-specific marker of tissue macrophages (such as alveolar macrophages and liver Kupffer cells), histiocytes, monocytes, myeloid cells, and their proliferations and neoplasms.1  Anti-lysozyme may aid in the identification of histiocytic lesions and neoplasias, acute myelomonocytic leukemia, acute monocytic leukemia and Langerhans cell histiocytosis.2
